YOU CAN DO THIS IF YOU FOLLOW OUR GENERAL RULES
The knowledge within The IK Workshop Society (including The IK Foundation Pictures in Exposure, SmugMug, Vimeo and Demandar sites) - works under a
Creative Commons license - which is free for all to read and use. We think it is a democratic right, but with rights come obligations!
THIS IS GOOD TO KNOW
However, all original content created by The IK Foundation or published under permission, including but not limited to text, design, code, images, photographs and videos, are considered the Intellectual Property of the work owner and are protected by The IK Foundation. Reproduction or re-publication of this content is prohibited without permission, except for the above material at The IK Workshop Society under the Creative Commons license, where the user publishes appropriate credit and source in connection with the use of the material.
Please follow our general rules and refer to the correct source.
TWO LEVELS:
We have chosen to recommend two levels on how to refer to our sources:
A: The first is if you quote generally from our pages.
B: The second level is if you use more detailed quotes/facts; then it is important that you demonstrate to your reader that you have performed research by correctly listing all utilised sources.
HOW:
A: Simply write: ”(Source): The IK Workshop Society at www.ikfoundation.org”. If you use our pictures, you also need to contribute the credit text (photographer, artist et al.) related to each picture.
B: Simply write: ”(Source): The IK Workshop Society at The IK Foundation | followed by: title/caption, author/artist and actual page link.”
