Promoting Natural & Cultural History
Since 1988
iLINNAEUS “tools” connect digital services to explore the Linnaeus Apostles’ 50+ years of scientific voyages (1745–1799). iFACTS presents biographical facts, iMAPS visualises their journeys, iLOG manages projects and enables iFellows to ADD KNOWLEDGE, iINDEX enables comprehensive search of 5,500 free-to-read iBOOKS pages, and all are continuously updated and interlinked.
These “tools” or departments serve as bridges linking the various works in the iLINNAEUS to their subjects. We invite all interested individuals or organisations to explore this site’s ever-growing scholarly knowledge of Natural & Cultural History.
